How bad is a trade imbalance, really? It's just money changing hands, money that continues to be circulated. So what if a lot of the money is controlled by others? We still get the goods and services we like at a reasonable price. Things were going OK, there was no need to pull a sham National Economic Emergency. Just more narcissistic self-aggrandization by the felonious tlim-flam man. |

I lost ''paper profits." Had I wanted to sell then I would have gotten less than I would have before. Stated differently, the securities were worth less. Yes, these are hard concepts for a MAGgot to grasp. |

Either way, you've lost value. Lost wealth. Lost spending power. Inflation does that too. Even funnier because you might have MORE dollars and less spending power. But some idiot will say that's not a loss either. Actually not at all like that. My checking account is actual dollars. If some are missing that I did not spend there is a problem. We are talking the difference between a bitcoin and a stablecoin.
