I'm definitely impressed with how much value Trump has taken off the stock market in less than a week. Quite an accomplishment.

All these promises of deals sound about as finished as Mexico paying for the wall. Or replacing Obamacare with a better plan.
Don't forget peace in Ukraine and the Middle East within 24 hours......
Still at least now you have NO INFLATION, which must be nice.

Don't worry, they deleted a few historical pages about black soldiers off of the Army website, so white America is saved.

Why do you have to make so many racist comments here?

The stock market is still all topsy-turvy thanks to the careening tariff moves: up to almost a grand an hour ago, just dropped a thousand points.

Whoa...very interesting...

A thousand point change in one hour or so...THAT is worth noticing.

But I guess you need to actually be able to afford to invest in stocks to care about this, so I can understand your indifference.

Ouch. So today's rally has almost completely been reversed. Well. I've posted elsewhere that I thought it was a dead cat bounce.
I'm really glad I wasn't buying today..

I don't know if some of the MAGA cultists on this forum ( and off the fourum) don't own investments, or whether they only browse the value of them when an annual statement arrives in the post.
Might it be that a majority of Maghats have no explicit stock market exposure. They probably think they are immune to the collapse.
Boy are they in for a shock, especially those that rely on your 'social security' system in the face of rising inflation..... Oh I forgot. Trump told them there is NO INFLATION.

Reporting minute to minute on how the stock market does shows you how stupidly out of it Libby's are. Everybody and I mean everybody says you should never ever look at the stock market in anything less than one year intervals, and 5-year intervals is even better. Because what it does week to week or even month to month is absolutely meaningless. Only a child with no understanding would think it means something day to day. But Libby's do it hour to hour and even minute to minute and think it's relevant. Embarrassing.

It's exactly like having a small child and measuring his height several times a day and wringing your hands over the fact that he doesn't seem to be growing. Lol
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Tell that to all the poor bastards who lost everything in the Great Crash of 1929.

The market has been in absolute turmoil since the oaf started all this tariff nonsense: a swing of about 1500 points today.

Pretty much all experts say it is idiotic, dangerous and foolhardy to do what he's doing: history will be the judge.
