Come on. The worst regimes out there are atheist regimes. Enough with the hate talk already.

You can't be serious, you think atheist regimes are worst than Islamic countries? I don't even know what you consider atheist, I am guessing North Korea? (And, I would argue that this is misleading, because the leading family are basically treated as Gods.).

Soviet Union prior to the collapse was atheist, and I'm not here to defend the Soviets, but I would rather live in 1980s Soviet Union than what Syria is about to become.

No "hate talk" here: simply plain speaking of The Truth.

The USA is, ostensibly non-sectarian and arguably an atheist regime, except even here religion raises its nasty head in politics.

Great, if religion wants to be a PLAYER then make em be a PAYOR and remove their income tax exemption.

The USA is not an atheist regime. We have a national cathedral. In God We Trust on currency, etc. Nonndenominational yes. Atheist no. China and the USSR would be examples of atheist regimes.
War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength

I agree with this, the U.S. is the first Secular Nation (not atheist.) Secular Nations are good, Atheist Nations tend to be problematic.
