Seems unlikely. BIPARTISAN House Committee found he routinely used cocaine, hired prostitutes, and at least once had sex with the underage girl. If he was otherwise likeable he’d still have a chance. But since NO ONE likes him (except Trump) I think his electoral chances are done. (Of course I’m the guy who thought the same of Trump!).

I think the Ethics Committee should release EVERY report on EVERY incident and stop hiding their investigations and payments to victims or whatever. That there is a slush fund for paying off people is a tragedy of entitled ass hats getting away with crap.

We can actually find other people for seats in the House and Senate.

I also wonder if the Gaetz DOJ thing was partially a distraction to give him a chance to resign his seat immediately and possibly keep the report under wraps and also to give the press someone to beat up on a bit and then step aside.

I think he is a piece of poop, but the DOJ (Biden's DOJ) did not find enough to prosecute him. I would believe that they would have loved to perp walk him. Maybe there was no federal crime to find for sex trafficking or whatever else he did. He "may" have violated state laws. Again, no prosecution to date.

To my knowledge there are no allegations about Gaetz cheating on his wife. His transgressions (I think?) are from before he was married.
