I’m not sure about the exact amount of time Senators are supposed to be available for an actual vote, but as a general rule, I think it should approach 100%. I would think this info is available to the voters. And certainly can be a factor in re-electing a Senator, Republican or Democrat. As a football coach once said, your most important ‘ability’, is avail’ability’.

One of the beauties of elected office is the office holder can do nothing-absolutely not a darned thing-and still hold office for the entire term and get paid. Rightly or wrongly...

Voting info for elected officials is all public record. Sometimes it even matters.

I said from the beginning that Trump never had any intention of him becoming Attorney General. Everybody and I mean everybody knew there's no chance in hell he would be cleared by the Senate. It's a bait and switch, Now Trump will nominate who he really wants to be Attorney General. I'm not the only one who said this there are many many others who suspected this was going on. I'm assuming he will now go on to work somewhere else in the Trump Administration which was the whole intention to begin with.
