I read a poorly written article this morning. Seems like Trump disinvited one governor from some luncheon for all the governors that is some sort of bipartisan thingie. The disinvited governor is the only Black governor in the USA. Can’t ascertain from the article the reason given. Seems to me if I’m a colleague I’d have to now decline my invitation. There must be more to this that I don’t know.

Wes Moore's colleagues are his fellow state governors. Donny also banned any Democratic governor from attending the business meetings of the National Governor's Conference.

You think any GOP governor has the scruples to decline their invitation in a show of solidarity with Wes Moore or Polis?

I’m not talking about the business part. I’m talking about the luncheon. My point is if I’m Joe Caucasian Governor I now choose to not attend that luncheon unless Wes Moore is invited. I haven’t heard of any Governors declining the salmon sashimi in solidarity with Governor Moore.

Well, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (D) said he's going to sit this one out in solidarity with Moore and Polis. So that's one.

As of this writing, no GOP governor has declined the invitation to either the business meeting or the luncheon, to my knowledge.

I hope more join in sitting out. I do believe this is not racially motivated but is of course politically motivated on Trump’s part.

WTF
The evidence is clear
Didn't you see the post Trump made and refuses to apologize for
You actually belive the staffer excuse
Everybody knows that's BS
No way a staffer posts something that repulsive and disgusting
This is his chance to show he is not a racist but instead doubles down because he is a racist

Zoom in: Three national surveys point to the same alarming trend for a president who's done everything in his power to erase his predecessor's legacy.

Harvard CAPS/Harris (Jan. 28–29): Mark Penn's polling firm found that 51% of registered voters say Trump is doing a worse job than Biden, compared with 49% who say he's doing better.

Rasmussen Reports (Feb. 2–4): The Trump-friendly pollster is fending off MAGA criticism after finding that 48% of likely voters say Biden did a better job as president, compared with 40% who chose Trump. Another 8% said the two presidents have performed "about the same."

YouGov/Economist (Feb. 6–9): This survey found that 46% of U.S. adults say Trump is doing a worse job than Biden, compared with 40% who say he's doing better. Another 7% said "about the same."

MAGA promised to "Make America Great Again."

Are we there yet?

If not, why not?

MAGA has full control of all the levers of power: where is this vaunted "greatness?"
