Why not do what I do: identify as an Independent and vote Libertarian in presidential elections due to disgust over the candidates offered up?

I’ve listed them ad nauseum. But here are a few

DEI. I think this is a poison affecting those that are on the ‘wrong’ side. You are applying for a job/college/nomination and you are a better candidate than another, with the SINGLE exception of your race. And you don’t get in because of it. It is STATE SANCTIONED racism/gender selection/ religious selection.
And those that DO get in are tainted by the perception that they did so BECAUSE of their race/gender/etc.. It’s bad for all.

Artificially high minimum wage. Leads to inflation directly, and of course in hidden ways.

Let’s solve our problems by ‘taxing the rich’. The Democrats don’t even hide their hate for the successful anymore.

There are no Israeli hostages anymore. Highly unlikely that would have been true under a Harris administration. Luckily, we’ll never find out.

General concept that the government is here to fix your personal failures.
Took out a loan that you can’t pay back? Let’s make it go away!
You can’t find a job that has health care benefits? Let’s invent Obamacare!
You are a criminal and can’t make bail? No bail necessary!
You don’t like that you are the minority party? Let’s shut down the government!
You own a business? Let’s put onerous regulations/costs on your back!
You want safe streets? Let’s increase social workers and decrease the police!
I can go on…..THE DEMOCRAT PARTY SUCKS!

SOOPOO, the clear fact is that BOTH parties "suck," i.e. neither is offering anything of lasting value for America.

The democrats want cradle to the grave socialism, the republicans seek to feather their own nests and those who support them.

Today Trump has gotten the Kennedy center named after him, in a major narcissistic move which underscores his insecurity.

Gee, people avoid that place now that he took control: just him and his droogs.

If the Democratic party sucks so bad why are blue states and cities safer than red states and cities on average, more educated, more wealthy and more healthy?

If the Democratic party sucks so bad, why has the economy done better under Democratic presidents than GOP presidents, since 1992?

Why couldn't they put up a better candidate than Harris at close to the last minute?

Because of Democratic party rules and federal election law. To put up another candidate would involve a brokered convention, had Harris also declared her candidacy. Furthermore, under Federal law, anyone other than her would not be allowed to use any money donated to the Biden campaign. Same would be true if Joe croaked sometime after the primaries and before the convention.

If you are asking was there a better candidate other than her, who would you have suggested? Gavin? Shapiro? Whitmer?

You truly are as stupid as you look. They had to pick her because she was in on all the illegal crap the Biden Administration was doing. Don't you pay any attention to what's going on? Almost every day there's a new revelation.
