You know the democRATS are in trouble when even the federal worker's union is against the SCHUMER SHUTDOWN.

Bingo. The Democrats should end the shutdown. Then, the untold billions in Obamacare subsidies that the Republicans will end will ALL be on the Republicans. The tens of millions of Americans that can’t find a job that gives health insurance as a benefit will see who is at fault, and it will clearly be the Republicans. And if you can’t get a subsidy from the government you WILL vote Democrat, because deficit be damned, we want to give away money we don’t have! Once you give someone something for ‘free’, they expect it forever.

This shutdown is ALL on the Democrats. Even that union realizes it!

Money we don't have? Wasn't Elon and his DOGE cuts supposed to help fix that? I mean, that was his whole MO, right? He's doing such a good job with Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter that he knows how to cut thousands or tens of thousands of government jobs, saving us billions that we can divert to other programs, right? Wasn't the whole point of cutting foreign aid, including incinerating food and emergency rations already staged to go be distributed and letting drugs for Africa sit in warehouses in Europe, to help out people here in the US? I mean that;s what the GOP and SooPoo told us? But, now that we aren't spending that money on foreign aid, we now all of a sudden don't have the money to spend on domestic aid?

Maybe Donny can pass the hat, and get a few hundred million from the donors paying for his ballroom and covered the Pentagon's payroll this cycle to help with ACA subsidies?

Aren't we running surplus right now, thanks to tariffs? And if we have a few hundred million to pay Donny for his legal defense, surely we have a few bucks to help people get their healthcare?

I mean, part of the reason why SooPoo is such a xenophobe is that he fears that illegals immigrants won't pay their bills to him. That's a fair point. But now he doesn't want government aid or assistance to anyone poor enough to have trouble paying their medical bills. Dr. SooPoo's motto: "Too old, too sick, too poor? TOO BAD"

That’s funny. Dr.SOOPOO worked in the two hospitals that had the highest ‘no pay’ population in the area. Maybe even my state! Never ONCE was care not rendered do to such. The first job it was money out of my pocket, the second job, it was money out of the taxpayers of Erie County because I was either being subsidized(first 8 years) or on straight salary (second 8 years).

ANYONE trying to stop the runaway train that is government spending will only be able to achieve small successes. I mean, the Democrats, who are now the minority party (for a reason!) won’t even let the government function if their biggest giveaway isn’t continued!
