Universities, like people, understandably beieve that "You can't ever have TOO MUCH money..." Besides, why should their endowment be used to pay for research which benefits the entire country? That is one reason for having a national govrernment, to fund projects that benefit all of us...like interstate highways, national defense, USDA checks... But Trump cutting funding based on claimed antisemitism is simply hysterical, as the court so found. |
