He declared bankruptcy? Information states he paid off his debts over several years and enjoyed a good reputation fo doing so. Other Presidents as well. But none have done so on the scale of Donny, and none have had plural bankruptcies. Donny is as far from "Honest Abe" as a President can get.

Doesn’t matter. Several POTUSs have declared bankruptcy. Many successful businessmen have as well. It is not the end of the world like you make it out to be. I prefer it to someone who spent their life in government.

How is one like the other?

I want someone who does not think like a politician. Who knows what happens in the real world when government makes rules. I don't want a Barack Obama who felt "like he was behind enemy lines" in the brief time he had a private sector job.

Experienced at politics is not something to be proud of. Being experienced at leadership, like Trump, is.

Only idiots / clueless starry-eyed dreamers want a president who has had no experience being a politician.

Ulysses Grant and Herbert Hoover come to mind and both were epic fails.

All this BS about "draining the swamp" is merely a dog whistle for "I want to be in power now and I don't care who I destroy or what I have to do to get it..."

Although Chicago is noted for crime and violence, especially around Bad Bad Leroy Brown's turf.

It might be more strategic to clean-up Baltimore first, then New York City since they're closer to DC.
