I use this (real life) example as an analogy. One year I put $10k into 3 separate stocks. 2 went bankrupt, one soared to a 10 bagger. Are you saying I’m a failure at investing because 2/3 of my picks went bankrupt?

The standard before Trump was a blind trust. Trump has amped up NFTs, Trumpcoins, Trump merchandise, and the like. That’s not even including the possibility of him yapping about his daily tariff plans which knowledge of invade would make ‘shorting’ or buying’ the market an easy way to profit. It’s hard to prove any of this of course. Frankly, I only care a little about it. The up market and up tariff revenues are what’s important for the country. After his term if the Democrats go after him I won’t lose sleep over that, either.

I’ll agree that he’s in it more for power than money, but he certainly will take advantage of his power to make gobs of money!

I'd counter that when Omaba was in he had colleges forcing students to buy his book, not for a class but every student. Nobody has been forced to buy Trump crypto which IIRC was issued when he was not in office. Sorry, but I do not accept the tariffs and market thing. He is not going to make those kinds of stock trades, too easy to get caught. Though I would expect more lawfare after he gets out as the left just cannot let go of their TDS.

He had colleges….. not “he forced colleges…..”

The colleges acted on their own to help one of their own.
