Hey Johnny Reb. Wave that confederate flag traitor.

Not sure what you are meaning here, but for you to not make sense is a usual thing. It does seem that you hate white people, though.

Ag secretary says able-bodied Medicaid recipients should replace immigrant farm workforce

Quote:
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said millions of adult Medicaid participants who will face stricter work requirements under the GOP megabill should replace foreign farm workers deported under the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

Great idea!
In addition to replacing foreign farm workers, these Medicaid recipients could also fill the jobs that American citizens supposedly don't want.

Are you really an American?

If so you're the stupidest one I've ever heard of.

Yeah, sure...all those drug addled, mentally defective clowns on SSI will just JUMP at the chance to work the fields in central valley.

What, are you off your meds?

Obviously he’s the perfect candidate for Trump.

Quote:
fired Justice Department attorney has provided Congress with a trove of emails and text messages to corroborate his claims that a controversial Trump judicial nominee — top DOJ official Emil Bove — crudely discussed defying court orders.

The newly-releasedmessages reinforce claims by whistleblower Erez Reuveni that Bove played a key role in a decision by Trump administration immigration officials to turn scores of Venezuelan immigrants over to El Salvador’s government despite a U.S. judge’s order not to do so.

The messages show increasing alarm among Justice Department lawyers that the administration had in fact defied court orders and that some officials — including a prominent DOJ lawyer brought on by the Trump administration — could face sanctions for misleading the courts.

Bove has said that he never advised anyone to violate court orders. DOJ and the Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

I guess that you do not know that Medicaid and SSI are completely different programs.

You get the prize for being the stupidest. The supposed lawyer is wrong AGAIN.

Bwah ha ha ha, boy did you just step into a pile of you know what.

Earth to fleafucker: please note that SSI recipients are the ones who get medicaid; reitirees such as myself get medicare.

It is the SSI recipients who will supposedly have to do some work in order to qualfy for SSI and medicaid, not we retirees in our Golden Years.

In your defense you come off as being as dumb as a box of rocks but still, I cannot forgive such effrontery...challenging me with WRONG information.

Please try to do better next time, but frankly I won't expent much if any improvement given your mental limitations.

Ta ta, Bozo...until we meet again.

Are SSI and Medicaid the same?

No, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid are not the same thing, but they are closely related.

Here's a breakdown of the differences:

SSI (Supplemental Security Income):

-This is a program administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA).

-It provides monthly financial payments to people who are aged (65 or older), blind, or have disabilities, and who have limited income and resources.

-It's funded by general funds of the U.S. Treasury, not by Social Security taxes.

-SSI recipients often qualify for other benefits like Medicaid and food assistance.

Medicaid:

-This is a joint federal and state program that provides health coverage to certain low-income individuals and families.

=Eligibility requirements vary by state, but generally include factors like age, income level, family size, pregnancy, or disability.

-In most states, receiving SSI automatically qualifies you for Medicaid, but some states have additional requirements or require a separate application.

-Medicaid covers various medical costs, including doctor and hospital visits, prescription drugs, and in some cases, long-term care services like home care and nursing home stays.

Key relationship:

While SSI provides financial assistance and Medicaid provides health insurance, they are often connected. In many states, being approved for SSI automatically makes you eligible for Medicaid. However, states have the flexibility to set their own Medicaid eligibility rules, so in some states, you may need to apply separately for Medicaid even if you receive SSI, and some may have different income or asset limits for Medicaid eligibility compared to SSI.

Therefore, they are not the same program, but for many people who qualify for SSI, it opens a pathway to obtaining Medicaid coverage.

Again you confirmed how incredibly stupid you are.
Here is the link I originally provided:

Ag secretary says able-bodied Medicaid recipients should replace immigrant farm workforce.

Quote:
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said millions of adult Medicaid participants who will face stricter work requirements under the GOP megabill should replace foreign farm workers deported under the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

“With 34 million people, able-bodied adults on Medicaid, we should be able to do that fairly quickly,” she added, referencing Medicaid participants currently in the program who don’t yet meet the reconciliation package’s new work requirements.
-emphasis mine-

Nowhere did I ever say that personnel receiving SSI "have to do some work in order to qualify for SSI". Oh, by the way, not all medicaid recipients are on SSI (hint: able-bodied adults).

It appears that you continue to have a severe reading comprehension problem.

Just remember, google is your friend, you should try using it sometime.

Ignored your wall of text as in common parlance the term "medicaid" as opposed to "medcare" is used when describing the health care benefit provided to SSI recipients.

___________________________

Just read your wall of text.

You originally wrote "adult Medicaid participants ... will face stricter work requirements.' and I commented how the zomibies on SSI will resist.

In your wall of text you submit that "Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid are not the same thing, but they are closely related" and "SSI recipients often qualify for other benefits like Medicaid."

Medicaid is the medical benefit that SSI participants get; folks on SSI who get medicaid will need to comply with the new requirement so yeah, I was right saying that "Yeah, sure...all those drug addled, mentally defective clowns on SSI will just JUMP at the chance to work the fields in central valley."

I suppose though that in your MAGA world those getting medicaid who are not receiving SSI will just line up and joyously work the fields, right?

Bwa ha ha ha
