He speaks to the U.S. Marine standing guard and says, “I would like to go in and meet with President Kamala Harris.” The Marine looks at the man and says, “Sir, Mrs. Harris was not elected President, Donald Trump was.” The old man says, “Okay,” and walks away. The following day the same man approaches the White House and says to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Kamala Harris.” The Marine again tells the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mrs. Harris was not elected President, Donald Trump was.” The man thanks him and again just walks away. The third day the same man approaches the White House and speaks to the very same U.S. Marine, saying, “I would like to go in and meet with President Kamala Harris.” The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looks at the man and says, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mrs. Harris. I’ve told you already that Mrs. Harris was not elected President. Don’t you understand?” The old man looks at the Marine and says, “Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.” The Marine snaps to attention, salutes, and says, “See you tomorrow, Sir!” |

| PotPie Member since: Oct 9, 2022 Threads: 11 Posts: 550 | . first T said he was going to deport all illegal immigrants then he changed his mind and said he wouldn't deport those who worked on farms, or in hotels and restaurants then he changed his mind again and said he would resume the effort to deport all illegal immigrants then just a few days ago he said farm workers would be exempted - they won't be deported so, you mean to tell me American citizens are going to be cleaning toilets in office buildings_________? businesses are going to have to pay a lot more than minimum wage to get an American to do that and there are a helluva lot of other low level jobs that are almost never done by American citizens he's going to hurt a lot of businessmen and Managers who were his supporters who are involved in hiring those illegals who are necessary to support those businesses a lot of businesses are going to have a very difficult time with staffing it's hard for me to envision how all of this will play out . the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |
