He tool a list of all the insults Trump made at him which Trump signed for him. He clearly saw how personable Trump is in person. It isn't like Maher is gong to come to his senses and stop being a lefty, but you can see he is starting to tell the left to quit acting like idiots or they will never be listened to. To stop going insane every time Trump does something. In effect, to get a life. Trump is smart enough to reach out to people who act reasonable. He is the kind of guy who can be friends with people who disagree with him politically, same as his supporters are. Trump haters will end years long friendships because they are consumed with hate. MAGA types are able to put politics aside and have a normal conversation. While I am not going to be a fan, I do have to say good job to Maher for accepting Trump's reach out and calling out the paddle-holding nut cases. War is peace. Freedom is slavery.
