I absolutely defend Trump standing up to a stolen election. Better than liberals defending BLM riots and looting.

So, I can also say a court ruled wrong and then do whatever I want? That's the system you want to follow?

I must be missing something. I do not remember you defending the SCOTUS like this when they overturned Roe. I do remember you voting for the man who wanted to pack SCOTUS and for the woman who wanted to ignore Senate rules to pass a law in response to it.

Stick your "system you want to follow" somewhere of your choice. Your past statements and actions show otherwise.

It’s legal to add more justices.

And what’s new, that I disagree with some rulings. You don’t seem to know the difference between disagreeing and advocating ignoring the court rulings.

And there we go again with Trump’s statement that if he is saving the country, whatever that means to him, that no law applies in that case. He’s a stupid oaf wanna-be dictator.

Perhaps SOOPOO has an opinion on this one.

Quote:
The Trump administration fired nearly half the members of a vaunted public health program that works on the front lines of disease outbreaks, only a day after anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was sworn in as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Members of the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) were told on Friday that they were among nearly 1,300 layoffs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to reports in Stat News and CBS News.

Experts from EIS have been dispatched for decades to investigate disease outbreaks in the United States and abroad, including when state health departments have needed help determining the origin of foodborne illnesses.

The program’s emphasis on field work has earned members the nickname “disease detectives.” EIS members were among the first responders dispatched to investigate the post 9/11 anthrax attacks that targeted U.S. politicians and media, for example.

The EIS program was set up in 1951 to address concerns about biological warfare during the Korean War, and today operates as a two-year post-doctoral training program for epidemiologists who want hands-on experience.

So they fired half of them, so what. It was obviously determined they didn't need so many and they could do the same work and have the same results with half as many people. That's the problem with government, that's what doge is doing. Getting rid of bloat. Government agencies are renowned for having way too many employees who don't do anything except collect a paycheck. Musk did the same thing at Twitter, he fired 80% of the employees and Twitter is still running just fine, in fact it's better than ever. Bureaucratic bloat is it every level of every big business. That's why so many people want to work for the government, it's not real work it's just hanging around for a paycheck. I've known two government employees in my life and they were both worthless but you couldn't get rid of them. They didn't do their jobs half the time, didn't show up for work and they both still retired with huge benefits. Every month that Joe Biden was in office and he supposedly created all these thousands of new jobs at least half of them were always government jobs. This is what happens in socialist countries, the government is by far the biggest employer and everybody sucks off the government tit and nothing gets done and you just get farther in debt and poorer and poorer as a country. But Democrats are socialists so of course that's what they want.

The deep state crossed the line years ago but it became obvious when they went woke.

No telling how many trillions the woke part will take to clean up, both in cost and lost production.

If I had to tag someone, it'd be Soetoro and Robinson.

The corruption issues can't be cleaned up without most of Congress getting voted out.

They allowed all the NGOs to steal the money.

But definitely clean out most of the blue judges and as many corrupt attorneys as we can.

I was pretty much going to say what EB said. Frankly, I had never even heard of the ‘Epidemic Intelligence Service’ before reading he fired half of them. If you told me they had a staff of 100 I would have believed you. A staff of 1000 I would have believed you. Point being, my guess is whatever the number is it is probably too much.

My mother, may she RIP, worked for the VA as an adjudicator. She said there was always an unspoken pressure from other employees to do LESS WORK, because if you were too efficient, there would be pressure to not have as many employees.
If there was a budget, there was NO WAY a manager would allow the year end total spent to be under budget. Because then next year your budget would be slashed. Welcome to the Federal Government Musk is tasked with paring down

(My mother passed in 2001, and the stories are from the 1990’s and before.)

You might as well replace the whole government. Unless you're going to pay them more. they're not going to work harder just because they have more work. So, you either want everything to fail, because you can't pay government workers like the private sector.

Is that the way you analyze whether something needs to be eliminated? Pretty shoddy.

Kemp refused to find votes for him. Coincidence?

Quote:
ATLANTA — Trump's administration has denied Georgia's request for an extension on the timeframe for local governments to claim federal disaster relief to assist with cleanup operations relating to Hurricane Helene.

In a letter to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, The Federal Emergency Management Agency states, "It has been determined that the increased level of funding you have requested...is not warranted."

The document notes that Kemp requested the funds to assist with debris removal and emergency protective measures.

Sometimes you have to fire most of the place because the lazy ethic is too strong. I helped close a Xerox warehouse because management determined it would be impossible to get the workers to actually work. So they moved it to another city.

More pay is not going to get them to work harder, government employees are already paid well. It is a culture thing. Musk gave the Twitter culture a wakeup call. Now let him do it for government!

Give an example of a "shame", as in, "that's a shame."

Musk sending a bus of government workers to the unemployment office.

What is a "crying shame."

There is an empty seat!
