Totally agree. Except for embassy employees, I've got little sympathy for Americans traveling into Russia at this time. For any reason except for official government business.

The money was authorized by Congress specifically to house noncitizens released by immigration authorities. The money was properly invoiced properly spent. Rinse and repeat as necessary. And stop believing all the bullchit MAGA keeps using to flood the zone.

Let’s be clear here. This is where my tax dollars should go on this issue. Someone is here illegally; use the necessary funds to deport them to their home country.
Make the border as secure as possible so we don’t have to deport as many.

As usual you are ignorant of all the facts. If you actually read my post you’d see that FEMA and CBP ARE indeed spending the money to house the undocumented until their deportation, or at least until their hearings. The money is spent on “short term housing”. I know that due process and facts gets in the way of you MAGA types but that's the way it goes.

That money was properly appropriated by Congress and signed into law by the President and properly invoiced and paid by the Treasury. Elon and ICE Barbie are going to have to eventually pay their clawback back.
