I’ll tackle one. ‘Limit credit card late fees’. As long as the terms make it clear what the late fees are, I don’t want them limited by the government. If company A charges $50 and company B charges $10, then company B will let everyone know it!

If you don’t want to risk paying the $50, then don’t get a card from company A!

Why is the government telling a private company that is competing with literally hundreds of other private companies how much they can charge?

Because the US government can regulate interstate commerce and feels it it is just to do so with their creation of the CFPB.

You know why the credit card companies don't have to really compete? Because they aren't really that flexible.

If you could have a hundred different cards, and check which one is lowest for the day at a glance, then the credit cards would be forced to compete.

It's not set up for the average person to easily compete. Would the average person ever be able to get so many cards, Nope.

.
MAGA has ramped up attacks on certain religions - namely Catholic, Lutheran and Episcopalian

these religions have a tradition of charitable attitudes towards the poor and marginalized including migrants and those that suffer in poor countries

obviously Trump doesn't share these attitudes

from the article:

"Anti-Catholic rhetoric has amped up noticeably since Trump took office."

Maybe when you get your credit score over 590 you can get more choice.

I have to really wonder about these folks that thought the Democrat Party weren't scammers.

What took this woman so long to see?

What in the heck is wrong with these folks?

“All right, you all. Listen, let me be one of the first Black women that was a part of the 92 or the 93% that voted for Kamala to come out and just say it. I regret voting for Kamala. I really do.”

“I regret voting for her already into Trump’s presidency, not even a full month.”

“And this man has already secured borders. He’s already signing bills that are taking place that are uplifting this country.”

“Me not doing my history and really being investigative and seeing all the things that Trump has done and now having an eye opener and really looking at this man and seeing exactly how this man works has really put something on my heart.”

“I don’t know what I was thinking going in there voting for Kamala in the first place. I’m glad. I’m glad of the results.”

“Don’t get me wrong. I’m glad that I’m saying that I’m glad that Trump is in there, but me being so lost and participating into the whole Kamala run and now taking a step back, looking at how this President here is really running things, and it hasn’t even been a whole month, is something that I do think about.”

“I advise people that are in the Democratic Party myself to do your research, really do your research, okay?”

“Because I can definitely say that as a Black woman, a part of the 93%, I made an error. I can admit that. I can take accountability and admit that.”

Has to do with competition not credit scores. If you worry about your credit score that's your problem.

I agree 100% with that one.
