Not using it as racist at all. Saying the person was hired under the DEI program. The people promoting DEI are the racists as they think minorities cannot succeed without their help. I think DEI needs to be ended because minorities are capable on their own.

Exactly. To be fair, I hope DEI becomes completely unnecessary. But that's probably a pipe dream.

It is completely unnecessary. My pipe dream is liberals finally accept that minorities are as capable as whites and can be held to the same standards. But liberals being the racists they are that will not happen in my time.

I don't even accept that white guys won't face enough discrimination and need DEI.

Except you are labeling Harris as a DEI hire. She is a minority female, but her resume is more than enough to fully qualify her for the position. You are using DEI to demean her accomplishments. As if she showed up at the door and they decided she was minority enough to be the VP.

If she was Tim Scott would you be saying the same?

I was involved in hiring and we did promote minorities, but only those that equaled or exceeded the requirements for the job. I never saw a case where a minority was hired with less qualifications than a non minority candidate. Usually the minority candidates worked harder than the non minority candidates, because they knew guys like you were watching for them to screw up.

More and more white guys see the deck stacked against them and are checking out from the system. Doing their own thing outside of the rat race.
