Well at least you need not festoon your living room furniture with protective plastic when Walz visits.

He thinks boys use tampons. That is weird.

He blew over 12 while weighing what looks to be about 300 pounds, likely has German ancestry meaning he has high alcohol tolerance, and was driving in excess of 90 MPH.

I haven't ever seen a plea deal under such circumstances.

I've seen them thrown out of court but not plea deal.

The offender claimed he was hard of hearing.

Harris uses the most effective line to shut down this protest.

No one know why pro-Palestinian protest against Democrats will not help Donald Trump, Not me anyway.

The pro-Palestine people are SO ANNOYING. They’ve made it their entire personality, and they will never shut up.

I think they ran the stolen valor thing through the AI computer models before Harris announced the VP.

However, I don't think they were aware of the pregnant affair, then miscarriage (?), the first gentleman had with his nanny while he was married.

I don't think Harris knew about it neither, although it will never be admitted to.

So I think this one thing could skew the results, so far.

That is absurd he would be dead (he certainly would not be driving.)

From what I can find his BAC is .128 at a time when the legal limit was .10. Yes, he was over, far more than he should (and back then the limit was far higher than it should be, but that is a separate issue) but not by a ridiculous amount. And, if you want to get really technical, some people argue that even modern breath tests have a margin of error of .02 (and this was in 1995.)

The idea that no plea deal has been entered for being .028 over the BAC limit before is silliness. I am no lawyer, and certainly no expert in Minnesota law, but from what I can tell he got a pretty standard first offense offer for somebody with legal representation who agrees to plead guilty..... (Some kind of fine and court costs, license suspended for a few months, I think a few months of probation etc...) He certainly did not get off Scott free. Also, back in the early 90s drunk driving was not like today (people did not look at it as a huge deal, I of course do not agree, and it is good things changes, but that was the reality.)

I have very little sympathy for drunk drivers, but unlike many, Walz seemed to learn from his mistakes and give up alcohol completely which is at least a positive outcome.

The way I look at it, he served for 24 years, had the option to retire, and there's no indication of any disciplinary action for retiring the way he did.

What I hear is someone trying to make something bad out of honorable service.

24 years with the option to be called up at any time was far more than what many actually do.
