I have a nephew in intelligence. He's currently suffering in a tour in Italy. (it looked to be a great assignment seeing what he is doing in his off time. Also has a great apartment location from what I could see) I think he might actually be doing some training, but not sure. He, of course, doesn't say what he's doing. Netanyahu (reports say) wanted the Supreme Leader taken out, with at least an okay from the US, and possibly régime change. I can see the appeal of the last part for Israel, but Israel can't manage all of Iran, if the people of Iran don't actively participate. Though we are on at least on cordial terms with some countries in Middle East, the attitude towards actually taking Iran out is poor to bad. I doubt Israel has any interest in taking over Iran. I think they would be happy just getting a more moderate government like UAE has. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I guess somebody doesn't listen to Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin? Quite a few voices in conservative radio call for such. As for people in office, I am not aware of any, ironically, Trump may deserve credit for this, because all Republicans are afraid to go against his negotiating policy. If Biden was in office, we would hear endlessly from the Neocon leaning members about how we are wasting time and need to invade today... (And don't pretend that this is not accurate, we all know that it is.) |
