Okay, so tennis adopted the name long after you think the name should have been considered questionable? The good news for me is that this is the dumbest discussion I expect to have today, with a little luck, maybe for the rest of this week. Last week they reported 345,000 workers added to the payrolls, when their population survey, the one no one ever mentions, showed a loss of 277,000 jobs. This morning the BLS reported 261,000 new jobless claims. In line with the population survey. |

What on earth are you talking about? They built one of the strongest brands in golf with their tournament, and I say good for them for doing that. What are they "hiding behind?" Are you so upset because they stiffed you on a membership or something? "Master" as a name means top of your trade. Master plumber, etc. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

With the 277K, they were expecting 235K, so they missed by 42,000 filing new claims. |

He's not wrong. You've never heard of a, "Master Electrician," for example? Or, a Master's Degree, for that matter? "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

But there are connections to banks. The co-founder Roberts used to be an investment banker (began in 1920s...Reynolds) than eventually merged into Dean Witter Reynolds (Morgan Stanley). ----------------------------- Masters: Stories of the rich and famous who have played Augusta National Apr 11, 2019 . . . Warren Buffett: Told Dan Patrick that he’s a member of Augusta National — come on, Warren Buffett doesn’t worry about keeping secrets of that nature — and also confessed to shooting an 89. Bill Gates: Like Buffett, he’s got a member’s green jacket. He’s also got a bit of game — enough that, according to Buffett, Gates shot a hole in one playing on the Par 3 course. That particular shot cost each of the members of Gates’ foursome $5,500, as they split the cost of drinks for everyone in the clubhouse.
