That is exactly how I look at. I may have my preference of candidates but I won't lose one minute of my life worrying about it.

Technically, I'm not personally worried whether I have access to an abortion pill or have to travel out of state to get abortion. Yes, you can argue individually the president in charge may not personally affect you.

But no, you can't argue it's irrelevant to some people's lives in general. Someone could argue we will save money in taxes when Trump abandons Ukraine. The right is complaining everyone is being personally raped and robbed by illegals because of Biden policies. I have yet to have a single issue with an illegal in my entire lifetime. But apparently it happens.
