There was no contra-protest, because pro-choice people are smart enough to stay inside when it's cold and snowing...

Interest payments just went over $1 trillion:

The chart looks like we're in trouble.

It's unlike anything I've ever seen.

META is coming out with earnings on 2/1.

I almost bought some long term naked puts the other day.

She looks good, if I had to choose.

Over $400 I think but looks good where she's at because she's back-testing a long term trend-line.

I'm hesitant because this is an election year.

And if Trump wins, they can cut the flow of artificial cash off then.

And leave him holding the bag.

I pulled the trigger today with a bearish starter position in META and got lucky because GOOGL missed capex and it affected their operating income.

I went out to June 2026 expiration date when price was about $404, close to the top.

I think GOOGL spent another $1B more than they thought.

After-market is extremely volatile.

Anything can happen but all the PEs are too high for the big cap tech stocks.

I say break them all up.

I'd also want the Universal Studio assets from a different firm Comcast.

In multiple replays of a wargame simulation, OpenAI’s most powerful artificial intelligence chose to launch nuclear attacks. Its explanations for its aggressive approach included “We have it! Let’s use it” and “I just want to have peace in the world.”

A burning smoking landscape of peace.

I'm again reminded of the older WW2 movie "All Quiet on the Western Front" and one of the final panning shots of all the dead on the battlefield. Did they report in every night with that phrase? I don't remember, but it makes sense. "All quiet sir" until it really was really really quiet.

Wasn't All Quiet a WW1 book and movie?

Yeah, I misplaced my war.

And it was just a week ago, I thought Santa Claus Land used to be in Florida, but it was actually Indiana.
