Report that people on Maui upset with government response. Not sure what you can expect in a week. They're out on an island. You get food, water and a place to sleep. You can't expect much in the first week. They're still searching for bodies that have turned into ashes. Unless you've got one of those insurance companies that cut you check in the next day, you're sure going to have to wait as they're lots of people to ID and process. Some didn't even leave with ID.

The Governor also asked tourist to stay away from Maui for the time being.

It's relatively easy to know when someone is dumping.

It doesn't concern me, but time is money and the more time holding is risk.

But they reversed.

Risher purchased 100,000 shares of Lyft stock worth nearly $1.15 million, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing.

During the second quarter, Lyft revenue notched just north of $1 billion, up 3% year over year. Meanwhile, the revenue it brought in for each of its nearly 21.5 million active riders in the three-month period came in at $47.51, a decline of roughly 4.8% from the same quarter last year.

By comparison, Uber revenue hit $9.2 billion, up 14% year over year. About 6 million drivers and couriers earned a record $15.1 billion during the quarter.

AZD 5000 federal people have come to help and search. Many residents weren't on the island or evacuated to other islands and need to get home. Hydro and construction workers need to get there to put things back together. Lots of none tourists need to get to the island.

Maybe you are aware that an airport can control who lands and takes off? So if they wanted to shut off tourist flights it would be fairly easy to do so. Even easier when you declare an emergency like is going on.
