It is pretty hard to make a good case against defamation when there is already a verdict in favor of the other party and there is obvious evidence of defamation. This case was a loser from the start. No lawyer can save him from himself. |

If Donnie appeals, he will have to post an appeal bond. IF he eventually has to pay when the appeals are over, E Jean will get paid. IF he doesn't pay Alina, she'll have to sue him. Could be that she's getting paid by one of the PACs and not him directly, though. Words matter. What we say to and about each other matters. Knowingly speaking lies about someone matters. Which is why there are laws against it. |

Saw lots of speculation that this would be a 2-1 decision because one of the judges was appointed by GHWB. If a person wants to support the elite's side that's fine. But the elite represent members in each party. They work together. If you want to attack the conservative side, that would be the red hats, not the reds. A quick way to tell the difference, are supporters of war (RINOs) and persons that don't want to increase the budget unless they're forced to (real conservatives or non-RINOs). |

I would certainly hope not. Declaring that a POTUS literally cannot be held accountable for a crime committed whilst in office...I mean, I know Trump's toadys would love it because it suits them in the moment, but probably not a good precedent.
