Nothing makes a rightie crumble like being confronted with facts.

A more accurate list. 1 is at the top 10 at the bottom. From Southwest Journal

St. Louis, Missouri
Detroit, Michigan
Baltimore, Maryland
Memphis, Tennessee
Little Rock, Arkansas
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Cleveland, Ohio
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Kansas City, Missouri
Stockton, California

Overall, we rate the Southwest Daily News Right-Center Biased based on editorial positions that slightly favor the right. We also rate them High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing and a clean fact-check record.

So both our sources agree: SF, Chicago and NYC don’t crack the top 10.

Why are you righties so obsessed with them again?

I'm not obsessed with them but the large number of issues many cities experience multiplied by a larger population make them get more attention, All the time.

San Francisco is a beautiful place being smeared with poop, drugs, homeless, etc. There has always been some of that on every trip I have made there, but it is at a high level now. Big cities get big attention.

90% of the cities on the list kenarman posted have Democrat Mayors. Mayors can make a difference. Sure, some of the cities are in red states. There are problems in red states. No doubt. The more of them we solve the better off we are,

St. Louis, Missouri—Democrat Mayor
Detroit, Michigan—Democrat Mayor
Baltimore, Maryland—Democrat Mayor
Memphis, Tennessee—Democrat Mayor
Little Rock, Arkansas—Democrat Mayor
Milwaukee, Wisconsin—Democrat Mayor
Cleveland, Ohio—Democrat Mayor
Albuquerque, New Mexico—Democrat Mayor
Kansas City, Missouri—Democrat Mayor
Stockton, California—Republican Mayor

No matter what party you belong to, you can't just let everyone do what they want and ignore the laws.

I guess Trump has to go the nice jail that is under investigation for the number of deaths and bad conditions, get his mug shot taken, and bond out. No court appearance this week.

Maybe they will weigh him, too.

Wonder if he will have to stay there when (not if) he violates his release conditions?

4(e) will be his downfall.

I think that he will violate it between the time he is released and the dawn of the next morning he reaches home.

He is going to leave the judge no choice--ignore the violation or haul him in and do something. There are some tools available, but the lower end ones (not infringing on his freedom of movement being the higher end) like bond increases and fines will likely end with another violation.

He can't help himself.

So...don't go to San Francisco again? I plan never to do so. Seems easy enough.

America has some beautiful cities. I'd rather that they fix the issues. They can learn from people like the Democrat Mayor of Dallas, TX. They have dropped the crime rate over the past couple of years. They use policing tactics that work--find the hotspots and take the repeat offenders off the streets.

Rudy G. has lost it but there is something to be learned from his time as mayor. Not everything was perfect but you can always sort out the good from the bad.

Yeah, I don't have to go back.

That isn't the point.

Crime statistics are often not relevant, in the sense that there are (often) easy ways to avoid the areas of a ‘high crime city’ that are truly the dangerous areas. I know certain areas of Buffalo are definitely ‘no go’ zones. And other areas as safe as most suburbs. So the ‘crime rate’ for Buffalo ‘overall’ is not relevant TO ME.

I’ve been to SF twice. Both times stayed at expensive downtown hotels. It was a few years back and even then the homeless/vagrants on the streets made it unpleasant to walk around. Remember, a guy sleeping on the street in front of your hotel in his own feces is NOT committing a crime in SF. Or if it is, he certainly won’t be arrested and charged let alone convicted of anything. So that doesn’t count in the ‘crime’ statistics.

Call me a mean bad conservative, but I prefer having my municipality not allowing that behavior.
