There cannot be any pardons issued of any of the State charges by the President. That is why these are so critical. I guess it's possible NY may one day have a Red MAGA governor, but I would not hold my breath (this is more likley for the GA charges, though it won't be the current one.)

Accepting a pardon would be admitting guilt.

The opposite scenario is why Biden must not be impeached.

Neither of those statements are true or make sense.

This one shows up by a 6 point "approval boost" but still too early yet IMO.

We might see it jump to 30 points when the judge locks him up since it'll be reversed anyway.

Might as well get the best bang for the taxpayer buck while the getting is good.

Trump is the master at getting millions and millions in free publicity out of the media, it happened in 2016 and it's happening here. Trump will be in the news all day every day from now till election day. If this had been a ho-hum hung jury, it would have been the worst thing for Trump and the best thing for the Democrats. People would have forgotten about this immediately and now Trump is a folk hero on steroids. People who hated his guts when he was president are coming out of the woodwork to support him. It's like he had this whole thing planned. LOL Alan Dershowitz says that Trump's defense was weak and he wonders if it was done on purpose. For one thing why did they allow the prosecutors to get the final word, that never happens. It's like Trump's team wanted them to have the final word because there was a better chance the jury would find a guilty verdict.

It's just a small percentage of folks doing it (2-3 million TDS patients?).

They're using the media, judicial system, education system, TDS Republicans, and other tricks, to pretend it's lopsided.

Many slow thinking Americans haven't realized their historical freedoms are on the verge of vanishing.

When they begin to realize it, we'll see a yuge flip-flop, if it's not too late.

Trump knew the risk of cleaning house of the Communists for the benefit of us all.

His courage and sacrifice is outstanding, but not unprecedented.

If he files for bankruptcy, I'll try to send him some cash after settlement.

I've decided I don't want the Communists to get my donation, like if they begin to seize his assets, etc.

Incidentally, note how drumph claimed 'the government' had the last word? What's the government got to do with it? It was the prosecution that made the final argument and the JURY had the final word..... 34 times.

Separated by a common language I assume. In the US “the government” refers to the offices and functions of government at any level, any branch. The US executive branch is called “the administration”. I have come to understand that in the UK “the government “ means the national executive structure reporting to the PM. When I hear “the prime minister is forming a new government”, it sounds like some kind of revolution has occurred.

....The fact that he didn't is an implicit acknowledgement that these were not a retainer but a reimbursement of a disbursement AKA a payoff.

Of course it was a payoff. Not illegal unless it was made to cover-up a crime, or with the intention of committing another crime. In this case, he made the payments to hide his infidelity from his wife and the public.

As for the underlying crime, the prosecution mentioned two.

“It was election fraud. Pure and simple,” prosecutor Matthew Colangelo said in his opening statement.

Bragg claimed the payoff was an illegal political contribution that exceeded the federal limit, which made it a crime to promote a candidate through unlawful means.

We will have to wait a year or more for the appeals process to play out at the Federal level. NYS Appeals Court judges cannot be trusted.

The Wall Street Journal apparently has an article that everyone is talking about that says Joe Biden has dementia! Oh my God, who knew. Only everybody in the world that has an IQ over 90 knew piss-pants Joe has lost his mind, literally. The article says that during cabinet meetings he talks in such a low voice that no one can understand him and then he'll nod off for three or four minutes and wake back up like nothing happened. This describes my father-in-law perfectly. When he was in his mid80s he would talk in such a low voice, because he had no energy, that you could not understand a word he was saying and he would fall asleep in mid sentence and wake back up four or five minutes later and continue talking like nothing happened. That's why it's such a joke when that curly haired little Shirley Temple Press Secretary of his says that Captain poopy pants behind closed doors is so full of energy and they can't keep up with him. Like Jon Stewart said, if that's true why don't they ever show us those videos. LOL
