Disney has been hemoraging cash since 2020, The stock is down 52%, and market cap is down $160 billion or 49%, since 2020. They began laying off 7,000 people a few weeks ago. Theme parks are supposedly doing well, but Disney Plus lost 2.4 million subscribers in 2022 and has been losing more than $1 billion every year. Disney cash on hand in 2020 was more than $17 billion. By the end of 2022, it was down to $8.47 billion. |

Us people living in Florida would not be happy at all if Disney left. The amount of tax they pay would have to be recovered from me and my neighbors and one of the reasons we live in Florida is because taxes are low. Paying no state income tax is very nice and I don't want that to change. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

When Florida is pursuing criminal charges against a fifth grade teacher for committing the egregious offense of showing a Disney movie that happens to have a gay character, it forces one to wonder if the far left doesn't (sometimes) have a point. Same, Disney. There are private schools, after all. I normally hate the verbiage, "Not allowed to exist," because it is typically one of the dumbest f^&$$#^*( things I have ever heard when it is used, but in this case, yeah....it's kind of that.
