I am looking forward to President Biden actually having to defend Bidenomics in a debate.

I get all the "economy is strong" responses but the issue is that middle and lower income families are not feeling that strength in their buying power.

It is easy to make it work in a speech in front of a friendly audience; not so easy in a debate.

I realize that the Republican candidate will have some explaining to do in any debate.

I look forward to those debates.

If Donny is your nominee (which he will be, barring death) there will be no debates. His lawyers won’t allow it.

I’d bet (real money) that if the Republicans are stupid enough to nominate Trump then Trump will be willing to debate Biden. His lawyers seem to have little control over him. As a tall , slender 215 pounder he’d look great in that debate.

That would be convenient for President Biden. If they do convince Trump (if he is the nominee or in jail for violating court orders...LOL) to not debate due to the possibility of saying the wrong thing (who thinks that could happen?) and perjure himself or worse, it gives the President a "get out of debate free" card.

I think both of them should humbly bow out but neither is humble and that won't happen. I do think the President would be a mumbling mess if Trump (or any other candidate) flusters him even a little bit. He has lost the edge he used to have as a speaker over the years. Of course, Trump could go into a decline and we could have two mumbling fools.

Florida Republican governor and 2024 GOP candidate Ron DeSantis told an abortion story during the Wednesday, August 23

"I know a lady in Florida named Penny," DeSantis said. "She survived multiple abortion attempts. She was left discarded in a pan. Fortunately, her grandmother saved her and brought her to another hospital."

Golly, that was a terrible "hospital" subjecting her to multiple failed abortion attempts.

Quote:
Miami Herald reports:

Penny is real and her last name is Hopper. But DeSantis failed to note key details from her remarkable story: The person who tried to end Penny's life in the womb was not a doctor or even an illegal abortion provider — it was her father. And his effort to abort his daughter with a coat hanger took place almost two decades before the Supreme Court's seismic Roe v. Wade decision, which established a woman's right to an abortion.

Vivek Ramaswamy Hired Wikipedia Editors to Remove References to His Soros Fellowship and COVID Work

I don't believe it!

Just kidding. 2 weeks before he announced someone hired from Upwork removed the info from his wiki page. Guess he's just like Trump. He couldn't get liberals onboard with his greatness so he went to where it was more likely.

WAPO/ABC Poll has Trump leading Biden by 10 points.

Trump's lead could be higher than that, considering who did the survey.

If this holds up, the Party will likely try install either Newsom or possibly Michelle Obama as the next president. But they would have to face RFK Jr. in a few debates.

I read the NY Post article, version of the same reference.

It takes enormous energy to be a President.

Biden is definitely too old.

Trump is borderline too old, but I'm leaning to the side that Trump is too old also.

Not too old to be a President, but too old to perform at 100% around the clock.

I don't mind a person taking a nap after lunch, but a President needs to get up at about 4:00 AM every morning and in bed about 11:00 PM in the late evening.

I don't think Trump has the energy in him any more.

Biden likely needs about 6 naps per day.
