Do you have a source and will that source reveal methodology

Polls can get whatever number they want.
I used to be a registered republican and get polls on the mail asking to respond or donate
The questions on these polls went like this
Are you against killing babies or pro choice and ok with killing babies
Do you support Patriotic republican candidates or do you support Democrats that hate the police

I mean, a week before the election an invited comic calls Puerto Rico a floating pile of garbage.

The other side is trying to buy votes with our money. Having a kid? $6k. Buying a house? $25k. Starting a business? $50k. Earn money via tips? No tax. Middle class? I’ll cut your taxes too.

You left out Donny offering tax deductions for new car loans. You also left out Donny's proposal exempting Social Security benefits and overtime pay from income taxes. You left out Donny's proposal for tax deductions for child care. That's not trying to buy votes with our money?

Once again, and this time I'll type S-L-O-W-E-R so you can understand better: No tax on tips was originally Donny's idea. At least Kamala had the good sense to have an income cap on her no tax on tips proposal.

Do you know why Donny originally proposed no taxes on tips? Because a waitress was b!tching to him that the IRS was taking out a lot of money in withholding from her paycheck each week. Turns out, her and the restaurant she worked at was caught under-reporting tips and is under IRS order to withhold. So the genesis of Donny's orginal proposal was a tax cheat caught red-handed. Not sure how much sympathy I have under those circumstances.

I typed that moments after watching a Harris commercial. It was a summary of her commercial. As far as Geno’s post. As usual, he tries to excuse Kamala’s weaknesses by mentioning Trump weaknesses. Ad nauseum, I will repeat…. I started my post with Trump being the worst candidate in history. Why would I want Kamala to only be better than him? I can’t tell you how much I am against the concept of giving money to people
1. To buy a house
2. To start a business
3. To have a child.
These were the main points in her commercial. You can’t do it for yourself, but lol have the gubmint do it for you.

Trashing the platform you say is worst in history then instead of reading the platform, going with commercials. I'm against giving people free money.
Here is what the platform says about helping small businesses. I'm now reading the platform.

"The Small Business Administration is nearly halfway to its goal of providing $250 billion in financing to 500,000 small businesses by 2030. For example, to get mom-and-pop businesses the small loans, under $150,000, that are often hard to secure, the SBA has brought in additional non-traditional lenders that specialize in working with underserved small businesses. It's now on track to double these loans by year's end, compared to 2020"

No free money. Loans. If you are going to criticize the what you say is the worst platform in history, how about reading it 1st

(1)Here we see the absolute absurdity of the GOP economic policy. All we keep hearing from the GOP are complaints about sending money to Ukraine, NATO spending, yada yada yada and that we should spend that money here to help Americans. But when someone proposes spending that money to actually help regular people, Republicans yap about that too. It's at the point where they've lost all credibility on spending priorities.

(2) Helping people buy their first home is a positive externality. Helping Americans start profitable businesses is a positive externality. Helping Americans offset the cost of bearing children and caring for newborns and infants is a positive eternality. Appears to me, such spending is a good use of the gubmint's money.

(3)At the time, Soopoo, what was your position on the American Dream Downpayment Act, signed into law by W Bush in 2003? At the time, Soopoo, what was your opinion of the First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit that was part of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act, signed into law by W Bush in 2008? Or do you only oppose first time homebuyer programs when a Democrat proposes them?

(4)Kamala's economic proposals aren't a weakness. Only those who think there are only two points on the political spectrum-Republican and Communist/Marxist and nothing in between-thinks that.

I mean, seriously, you think it is OK for her commercials to say that? To me it is quite obvious. ‘I don’t think I’ll win if I tell the truth, so I’ll just make this stuff up?’

Spoke with next door neighbor, and another couple a few houses down. Both put up Trump and anti-Harris ads on their lawns.

Next door neighbor is (84?) year old lady. I barely ever speak to her about anything other than how hard she works on her lawn and my cute dog. I asked her about her posters. Said she was a Democrat until a few years ago. Always voted Democrat. Voted Biden. Said she changed because of, you guessed it, the economy, crime, the border, and inflation. It doesn’t matter to the election if she is being duped (I think she’s spot on, the usual suspects here don’t).

Other couple were (nearly insane?) Trumpers. When I explained my general Republican lean but anti-Trump specificity, they spoke to me like I was a traitor. The woman said Trump himself was a great man. The husband, whom I’ve chatted with about trivialities multiple times on my dog walks, just turned his head and walked away in frustration. I had given him a few names of Republicans I would have voted for (Ryan,Haley,DeSantis) and they cursed at Haley and Ryan, and said DeSantis is OK but no Vance!


Anyway, my take on why I have thought that any Democrat (exactly what Harris is) would beat Trump was this. Trump lost in 2020, and it was hard for me to envision voters actually changing to him from Biden. I figured each bozo statement/speech/insult would add to the Democrat tally. Additionally, demographics are shifting Democrat’s way as well. SOOPOO’s prediction of 2028 election having Dems take Texas is an example of the demographic shift.

But speaking to old lady next door neighbor was an eye opener. The poor results of the Biden administration might be sticking to Harris more than the countless lies, insults, and mental decline of Trump.
