Republicans are TERRIFIED that Taylor Swift will endorse Biden sometime this fall.

Spoiler alert: she will.

More context as to why they fear her: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13016529/amp/Taylor-Swift-election-new-poll.html

"House Republicans on Sunday released two articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas -- accusing him of "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law" and "breach of public trust" and taking another step toward a historic attempt to remove him from office while he denies wrongdoing."

What goes around comes around.

And yet they can't cite a single law he is accused of breaking.

This. Like the Trump impeachments, another waste of time and money. Being an abject failure at your job, like Mayorkas is, is not grounds for impeachment. There is not only a zero percent chance the Republicans can get the 2/3 majority needed to convict, they won’t get a single Democrat to vote to convict. At least the Dems got a few Republicans to vote to convict Trump.

He won't be convicted...but, like Trump, Clinton, and others...he will be considered "impeached" should the articles be passed by the House.

I am not sure that they will.

Polymarket the largest and most respected oddsmakers in the world have got Trump at 55% for winning the election and Captain poopy pants at 39%. For this early in a presidential race when the nominations have not even been done yet, this is a gigantic lead. They give Trump 94% chance of winning the nomination and they only give Biden 89% chance of winning his nomination. Normally you would think those numbers have to tighten up between now and November but that's not true anymore. As long as Biden keeps putting on hard hats backwards and falling down and incoherently mumbling every time he talks in public these numbers are only going to go up for Trump. Remember how incompetent we thought Biden was in 2020? Oh my God, he looked like a Rhodes Scholar in 2020 compared to now. And doctor after doctor said he had dementia and it never gets better and it only gets worse and they were 100% right.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Your fake confidence worked out so well in 2020 and 2022.

Well after 3 years Biden has finally admitted the border is a "crisis". Of course his spin now is that he can't do anything because of congress, which he of course controlled for most of this crisis.

"This was a reference to a statement President Biden made Friday when he said that his administration had been “negotiating” with Congress for “two months” to “finally address the border crisis.” A change in policy as well as rhetoric, the president promised the next day that, if given new powers by Congress, he would “shut down the border right now.”

Why the Republicans might win in 2024…. The Democrats are now trying to frame the Republicans as obstructing the Democrats from passing a bill to shore up the border.

I read some of the details. Biden would have the ability to ‘shut down the border’. Apparently, by “shutting it down”, they would still allow 1400 migrants a day to cross!!!! So a SHUTDOWN still allows 1400 to cross seeking ‘asylum’! Of course that doesn’t even include the hundreds a day that cross illegally, which the Biden administration wants to make EASIER by eliminating barbed wire, and water borne obstructions.

The people will speak. We shall see if they are stupid enough to be fooled into thinking the Democrats really want border security/control.
