Should Trans People be allowed to use opposite sex bathrooms?

The American Acadamy of Pediatrics supports gender affirming care and even surgical intervention on minors on a case by case basis. Sounds fine to me.

Maybe ‘cause the poor have significant issues to worry about, and contamination by the trans community is the least of their worries.

Apparently I know another transgender person! Last night I ran into the owner of the billing service that my group used. I would go there 5-10 times a year to do an audit of sorts. The guy who would set me up at the computer and answer my questions was Bill. He was a young man, and was having his third child by the time I was about to retire. He always had a weird haircut, and was somewhat effeminate. The owner told me Bill is now Billie! All the workers there were very nice to me, remember that I was basically a pain in their asses when I’d be there…. I’ve gone back once right before the pandemic to treat them to donuts. I plan on doing the same again. I don’t know if Billie has had surgery or is even planning on it. She knows I have been involved in the surgeries as she has processed the bills over the years.
