Biden pledged to open the borders and he won by six million votes.

ROTFL
He won by 6 million votes while Trump was in charge of the border
We need the immigrants
I see help wanted signs everywhere
Not just food places
Everywhere like car and RV dealerships as an example
Limiting immigration is hurting the economy
I thought the right was pro business
Nope. The right is punishing businesses in several ways. How about Disney
It's shocking how anti business the right has become
Any comment on OAN :-)

Biden pledged to open the borders and he won by six million votes. Kept that pledge his first day in office.

The American majority obviously wants open borders.

Besides, trying to control illegal immigration is like trying to stop the wind with a chain link fence.

Controlling immigration is very hard if you don’t enforce the law and deport illegal entrants as quickly as possible (but with due process, which could be done much quicker).

We may well need legal immigrants. Always will. We don’t need illegal immigrants that can be exploited in so many ways…

The can gets kicked down the road through both Republican and Democrat administrations and legislatures.

We need people fully involved, legally, in the American Dream.

This is not a “but Trump” issue…it is an issue of paid for lifetime politicians who don’t give a rats ass about the immigrants or the ones they are supposed to care about…the citizens and those here legally. Someone may try to turn into that, but that is a moronic position…he was one guy serving four years. The President now has been in government for fifty years, as have way too many of his cronies.

If a community doesn't want illegal immigrants to hang out there, don't supply the jobs. Same as, if you don't want homeless in the neighborhood then don't give handouts.

You know how many personal problems I've had with illegal immigrants in my entire lifetime? Zero.

If your neighbors are supplying all the problems of supporting them, blame them. If people would do this, we could probably manage border control easily and maybe even reduce the cost of it to do so.

The government has a duty to enforce our laws. Coming here illegally is breaking a law. Failing to obey the orders of a federal agent (or other law enforcement personnel) is breaking the law. The government needs to do what is supposed to do—stop illegal immigration.

Illegal immigrants may be fine people and hard workers. Perhaps we should give more a chance to get here legally. It does not matter if it does not impact you…it impacts many people with drug smuggling, girls forced into prostitution, and exploitation. It also puts strains on our systems.

It is ridiculous that we have not had politicians willing to work on solving the problem and helping give immigrants a better start here while keeping the scum (not a huge percentage but there are some) out.

Just because we have more speeders than traffic cops, doesn't mean the answer is to hire more cops. What I'm saying is the situation doesn't need more enforcement, but more people willing to discourage the support for them when they show up. The problem solves itself.

If you have a problem with illegal immigrants in your city, you either need to stop supporting them, vote your local politicians out, or move yourself because not enough people support your position. Why should I pay for that? The biggest economic deficit seems to be locking up able bodied people looking to work.

BTW, I'm all for asking the federal government to come in and help with crime if it's required if the local community can't handle it.

But we're mostly talking about an argument where people are essentially feeding the pigeons in the their community and other people are complaining about it. That's local. You can't figure out how to fix it, not my fault.

When you have more speeders you may not increase the number of cops…but you do increase the emphasis on slowing more speeders down.

The problem needs solved at the Federal level because they are the ones in charge of the border and of immigration. Other things can be done…that is why I say lock the Congress in until they make laws to fix the issue…even if some of the fix is not what one side or the other wants. Give them bologna sandwiches and a drink for all three meals.

I don’t blame this on one side or the other…we need both sides to fix it.

Not going to happen. Especially when there are special interests donating millions to campaign funds.

The government sees them as future taxpayers. Corporations see them as cheap labor and consumers. Unions see them as future members.

There are more than 500,000 Asian illegals in NYC. They either work for themselves, doing things like selling goods on the streets, or they work for an Asian business. Salaries are paid daily in cash. Nearly all their business transactions are in cash. Most of the money that enters their economy, remains there. First thing a non-Asian will will hear when walking into a local restaurant is 'Card machine not working'.

They even have their own casinos.

Walking NYC : Downtown Flushing, Queens via Main Street

Picks up around the 7 minute mark.

I get it…the political world at the Federal level is not really interested in doing anything because of money. The Democrats want the votes and the money and the Republicans want the money and to keep their cronies in various cheap labor industries happy.

We’re screwed.

The losers, for sure.

Besides, this is what 81 million people voted for. That and $4.50 per gallon gas.

ICE expects to catch and release 600,000 into the US over the next five months.

That’s on top of the hundreds of thousands more, who fly here, or cross the borders every year, unseen.

It drives up the costs of goods, including food and services, as well at the cost of housing.

The increased demand from more than one million new arrivals every year, creates shortages, which drives prices and profits higher.

Rents and property values are soaring, thanks to the housing shortage. Consumer Staples have also done well since the election.

Horrible for consumers, but great for investors.

If you’re on a fixed income or you’re one of the six in 10 Americans who doesn’t have $500 in savings, you’re in for a tougher life.
