As for Ukraine: it has long been the policy of the USA to keep Russia at bay and a minimal threat to Europe: now Trump wants to shitcan that long-held policy ... why? Sure it is..that is EXACTLY what Reagan did to force the USSR to collapse: spent so much on defense / offense that the USSR couldn't keep up. We didn't bankrupt ourselves then nor are we bankrupt currently. |

Biden aided Ukraine to protect the USA as well. You simply don't have a good grasp of geopolitics...unless the USA does stuff like aiding Ukraine its international clout will fade. It's a bit of a fluke that we became a major power, but to keep that status we need to shield our allies from aggressors such as Putin. |

Ukraine is no particular ally. When Ukraine was absorbed by the USSR it did not affect the USA in the slightest. Just like this will not, either. The USA is not the policeman of the world.
