At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

You just don't "get it," do you?

The USA became a world power only at the end of WWII, when Europe and Asia had been decimated by war and we had The Bomb.

We decided it was important to oppose communism globally, so our policies did just that: Korea, Vietnam.

Today communism is essentially dead, and authoritarian fascism is the new threat: both Russia and China are more that than they are communist.

America no longer leads the world in areas it once led, e.g. industry, tech, education, freedom...we're mirroring an old Savoy Brown tune...

Speaking of Philadelphia Cream Cheese not being from Philadelphia, I had a couple of Customers from Switzerland who had no idea what Swiss Miss was! 💡🤔 Ironic! 💡🤔 I surmised that Swiss Miss must be purely an American invention. 💡🤔

I'd like to know who is talking about COVID in the past tense. General population? I;d expect that since they're not really keeping up with the medical literature. Medical and healthcare professionals? Willing to bet they;re talking about COVID in the present tense. At least the ones I know and interact with every day.
