What a SELFISH, STUPID, IDIOT that Woman was! 😡🤬 Damn, I'm not even related to or know the PREVIOUSLY HEALTHY woman who died who was JUST doing a quick visit because of a SELFISH, STUPID, IDIOT and I'm beyond PISSED! 😡🤬

You don't get it. Jesus took care of it, quit sticking your nose in about things you don't understand. The family forgave her because Jesus would never let something happen that wasn't meant to happen. It's all part of his plan. That's what they believe, I know better than to argue with them if I ever want them to speak to me again.

Gotta blame Jesus for this death.

Jesus has an alibi.

One of the best Homolies a priest ever gave (so good it is one of the only ones I remember to this day!) told of a guy who was in a flood. He is on the roof of his home and a boat comes by.

"Sir, we are here, get in the boat."
"No thanks, God will help me."

A few hours later the water rises and another boat comes by."

"Sir, we are here, hop in!"
"No thanks, God will help me."

Few hours later a helicopter comes, using a megaphone. Water is very high.

"Sir, grab the rope, we will pull you in!"
"No thanks, God will help me."

Water rises, guy dies. He is meeting God in heaven.

"My Lord, why didn't you save me?"
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I SENT TWO BOATS AND A $^%#& HELICOPTER!"

What is funny about it all is atheists act the same as this type of true believer. They both think everything in the Bible is to be taken literally. Just that atheists somehow think they are smarter.

And Christians think they get to pick and choose what happened literally in the New Testament and what didn't happen literally. That's why there are currently 2,500 different versions of the Christian religion worldwide. Nobody can agree on what happened and what didn't happen. An atheist says, I ain't messing with any of this. If the true believers can't figure it out, why would an outsider want any part of it. If you want to drive yourself crazy, listen to a Methodist, a Catholic, and a Baptist talk to each other. What they do agree on is a far shorter list than what they don't.

Actually they agree on most things. Where they disagree tends to be on rules and procedures. The big things they all point the same direction.

The future of Christian religion in the USA seems to be various Protestant offshoots where you agree on the basics but like this preacher or that aspect or even just the location of the church. The Catholic Church needs Latin American immigration to save it from even more shrinkage.

That's like saying we can all agree that the sky is blue and everything else we disagree on is just minor compared to that. The small points they disagree on in religion are huge points to them, big enough that they start whole new branches. For instance the difference between Roman Catholic Church and the Baptist Church are gigantic. Big enough that they've been at each other's throats for hundreds of years. My Baptist father-in-law was a minister who had his own church and he hated Roman Catholics. He thought their church was run by Satan and often preached on it. To an outsider the whole thing looks like nonsense on both sides. They read the same book, the New Testament, and come to wildly different conclusions. What does that tell you about the book itself. I would only use a cookbook where 99% of the recipes gave me what I wanted. What good is a cookbook were the instructions are so bad everybody who uses it gets a different result.

I took a "Comparative Religions" course in college; the prof was a hard-shell Southern Baptist, and boy howdy did he hate Mormons.

He said that the only women who went to Utah were those too ugly, too disagreeable, to latch onto a man back east, and that they therefore wouldn't mind sharing a man with other similarly ugly, hellishly unattractive women.

My wife has been sick since Monday with what she thought was a bad cold, a really really bad cold. She finally went to the clinic today and of course she has covid. Makes sense because she was vaccinated and had all the boosters so of course she got covid. Never had the vaccine and I never get covid since I had it in 2020. Wife lives in a high class Retirement Village and she has to self quarantine but the doctor told her his advice was not tell anybody there she has it. He can't stop her but he said it's not a good idea. I would hate living there but she likes it because she doesn't have to do anything. No lawn to take care of, something breaks and they fix it. And she has all these other old people to be friends with. I like having all that stuff to do, I've got projects already planned for next summer.

Sorry to hear she's ill.

FWIW I've had all the shots / boosters and never have had covid.

They work for me, and I spend a lot of time around other people and probably would have gotten it but for the jabs.
