Is the Ukraine conflict still going on? Scott Adams his quit reporting on it because there is so much false information coming out of both sides that nobody knows what's going on. My sister-in-law follows a fellow Christian who lives in Kiev who makes a Facebook post every day and her life is pretty much normal. TV works, electric never went off, there's food in the grocery stores. Of course they're terribly afraid and under constant stress about the war but her actual day-to-day life haven't changed all that much. The biggest problem is everywhere they go at every intersection there is a Ukraine army checkpoint you have to show your papers.

What a fascinating war to happen in the age of instant communication and the internet
No more slow letters to home
We can now listen to Russian soldiers calling home
The amount of information available on this war is stunning
There are thousands of Russian soldiers calls home just on youtube
Just incredible that we have a front row seat to this conflict

This is a pretty fair analysis on the current situation by Task and Purpose:

Scott Adams was bragging today that he correctly predicted even before Putin invaded Ukraine that they would never take Kiev because Putin would greatly underestimate the power and precision of modern weaponry such as the switchblade drone. And he was correct the troops around Kiev are completely gone now. I remember when he said this, he's always making predictions he's very good at it. He's wrong sometimes but he's right far more often. He said somebody who's good at predictions, is Donald Trump. When Scott Adams visited the White House in 2018 Trump asked him who was going to be the Democratic candidate in 2020 and Scott Adams said Kamala Harris. Trump said nope, it's got to be Joe Biden. And in 2018 Joe Biden was at the bottom of everybody's list, he was a bumbling hair sniffing senile goofball in the eyes of the press. But somehow Trump predicted he was going to be the candidate.

He certainly has you bamboozled.

f he's so good at predicting, why did he need to work. He could have just picked stocks.

Adams made a prediction in March 2020 that Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, and Joe Biden would all get COVID-19 and that one of the men would die from it by the year's end. Politico named Adams' prediction one of "the most audacious, confident and spectacularly incorrect prognostications about the year." Adams made further controversial statements when he said that if Biden were to win the 2020 presidential election then "Republicans would be hunted and there's a good chance they'll be dead within a year.".

At least he made a decent calculation predicting 1 of 3 old men might die of covid before 2020 was over. Afraid it wasn't a good enough guess.

It's what people call Nostradamous Syndrom, if somebody spends hours a day on the radio making predictions, a handful of them will come true, and they and their supporters will cite their genius.

But, their majority fails get swept under the rug.

It's a tale as old as time, and yet people still fall for it....

Yup. And Donny was afraid of a Biden candidacy. He knew Biden would beat him.

Hence his “perfect” phone call in July 2019.

He does pick stocks he's heavily invested in the stock market. A lot of his predictions are wrong but a lot of them are uncannily right. He predicted Trump winning when everybody was laughing at him. And he stuck with it until the election. He predicted that Putin would not invade Ukraine but he was the first one to admit he was wrong. I like him because he's a bona fide genius and he's willing to go out on a limb and say things that he might be one hundred percent wrong about. How many people do that. CNN still will not admit they were wrong about all those hoaxes they perpetrated about Trump.

Nothing to fall for, he lays it all on the table and is always the first one to admit when he was wrong about something. Unlike anybody in the left-wing media. They are always right and when they're one hundred percent wrong like with all the Trump hoaxes they never admit it.

Russian state media seem to be in agreement that former U.S. President Donald Trump remains Moscow’s candidate of choice.

The time is coming “to again help our partner Trump to become president,” state TV host Evgeny Popov recently declared. On Thursday’s edition of the state television show The Evening With Vladimir Soloviev, Putin’s pet pundits offered an update on plans for 2024.

“We’re trying to feel our way, figuring out the first steps. What can we do in 2023, 2024?,” Russian “Americanist” Malek Dudakov, a political scientist specializing in the U.S., said. He suggested that Russia’s interference in the upcoming elections is still in its early stages, and that more will be accomplished after the war is over and frosty relations between the U.S. and Russia start to warm up. “When things thaw out and the presidential race for 2024 is firmly on the agenda, there’ll be moments we can use,” he added. “The most banal approach I can think of is to invite Trump—before he announces he’s running for President—to some future summit in liberated Mariupol.”

He went on: “Dmitry Drobnitsky, an omnipresent “Americanist” on Soloviev’s show, suggested that Tulsi Gabbard should be invited along with Trump. Dudakov agreed: “Tulsi Gabbard would also be great. Maybe Trump will take her as his vice-president?” Gabbard has recently become a fixture of state television for her pro-Russian talking points, and has even been described as a “Russian agent” by the Kremlin’s propaganda machine.

There is a horrific polarization of society in the United States, very serious conflicts between the Democrats and Republicans that keep expanding. You’ve already mentioned that America is a dying empire—and most empires weren’t conquered, they were destroyed from within. The same fate likely awaits America in the near decade. That’s why, when all the processes are thawed, Russia might get the chance to play on that.”
