I’m fascinated by his face lift. His neck is nowhere near that droopy anymore.

I agree 100% with the above comment

Who predicted that in a single year, Biden would destroy America's energy independence, send inflation skyrocketing, come very close to breaking the American economy entirely, destroy America's southern border, come within minutes of a land war with Russia, preside over the deaths of more American civilians than any president in history, castigate an entire political party as the living embodiment of Jim Crow and the KKK, utterly destroy America's and the military's prestige in Afghanistan, drastically increase America's racial tension, politicize federal law, and turn the military into an increasingly dysfunctional woke institution?

Whatever, at least he isn't Trump.

Were Trump re-elected he'd probably be sending his critics to "re-education camps" and executing his rivals, claiming martial law is necessary to make America great again.

Yeah, I don’t think flea will ever catch on that his anti-Biden posts won’t hit a nerve with the board’s libbies as long as Donny remains a one-term loser. You think Biden sucks? Cool. He’s still miles better than the orange a-hole.

jcw seems to have caught on, which is why I’m assuming he now just pivots to the GOP-packed Supreme Court in 90% of his rants.

Just curious: who now is the most likely republican to challenge Trump's apparent hold on the party and then go on to victory?

I'd actually welcome a level-headed moderate republican at the helm.

Glenn Youngkin might have gotten a high enough profile. But he has the same problem as DeSantis.

All the ones who ran against Trump the first time are probably interested, but I doubt enough Republicans are interested in them trying again.

If you want a moderate that's been around for a long time that has a chance, I can't think of anyone.

If by some miracle Trump doesn't run again, it's a whole new ballgame.

Obama actually said that after him and Captain Poopypants were out of office. Joe Biden's biggest problem is that he's a political dumbbell, it's why people who know him say he's always been on the wrong side of every foreign policy decision for the last 50 years. It's why he had to plagiarize his way through law school and then steal from other people speeches when he ran for office. The guy is a hair sniffing con man dunce who only stayed in office because his state is so small he knew everybody in it eventually and like all con men he can be charming as hell. Every time he opens his mouth in public for longer than 10 minutes the White House spends the entire next day cleaning up. Just like they did today.

It's going to hit people on Social Security hard. They got a small increase for cost-of-living this year but that was totally eclipsed by Medicare monthly payment going from $148 to 170. And now food costs are going up anywhere from 5% to 45%. And pet food. The bird seed that I buy at Walmart was $5.79 a bag three months ago now it's over $9 a bag. Fast food restaurant prices have gone up 7% to 10% and will go higher now that beef cost is going up 20%. This will hit the lower classes hardest they're the ones that keep McDonald's and Burger King and Popeyes in business. I saw a video yesterday of a Chick-fil-A where from 3 p.m. To 6 p.m. there was never less than 35 cars in the drive-up lane. Chicken prices are going through the roof to. I was getting a 3 lb bag of chicken breast from Walmart a couple months ago for just over $5 and now they're just over $7.

Yeah, that's rough. As with all things, it hurts the lower class and those on fixed incomes the hardest. That's the way it has always been and the way it will always be. The Far Left could get every policy wish they want and the only thing it would accomplish is slightly improving what it means to be, "Lower class," but causing the term to apply to a hell of a lot more people.

And, as I'm sure you know, prices have a tendency not to go back down (some major items aside). I guess it could happen in a deflationary period, but I think this inflationary period would have to be sustained for awhile longer (which would likely mean prices go up even more relative to today) in order for a true deflationary period to happen. To some extent, the damage will have been done.

It's not so bad. For me, it's like, "Well, I guess I should go out to eat less frequently or start AP'ing/writing more," but even though I'm not well-off (I'm like, dead middle of middle class) by any extent of the imagination; I've got it much easier than a lot of people out there.

That's basically what it's going to take is for it to hit the point that consumer habits change. When that happens, various segments will find themselves in layoff/termination mode rather than desperately looking for employees...at least those who are operating above bare minimum need. I'd think we were a year or two away from that coming to pass, but at this breakneck inflationary pace, could be sooner.

Oh well
