Washington has since put a bill into law that would replace the Faithless Elector, so no help there. Hawaii technically doesn't allow for them, but they're one of the weird states in which the law doesn't actually do anything about it and there's no criminal penalty. All of trump's expected votes (232) are in - no faithless electors. biden is at 240, again no faithless electors, yet. states left (votes), voting time: Oregon (7), 4:30 PM California (55), 5:00 PM Hawaii (4), 7:00 PM was anyone betting (like actual money bets) on faithless electors? I didn't bet on it, but I've been sitting on submitting an article just because I wanted to mention it in there if there ends up being any. I think California is the least likely case. Whilst the vote would be counted, apparently there is some kind of penalty for doing that. Oregon and Hawaii both technically have laws against, but neither state actually does anything about it. She and Hilary Clinton are the only female names for president to receive at least one electoral vote. In other news, BetFair has just stopped taking bets on the 2020 election. I believe they said previously they would judge the winner by who got the most electoral votes and specifically said they wouldn't count faithless electors or other shenanigans.
