I have never had problems at the local parks. Around the tourist areas it is bad but away I haven't noticed much of a problem.

Countries who need English tutors an easy side gig. Though maybe that's less of a problem with apps.

Russia. The beautiful women do not make up for the cold weather. I mean, I lived in Albany for a year and a half, that was enough.

You just haven't met the right one yet AZ. You meet the right one and you aren't going to want to go outside much anyway. I've thought about going there quite alot actually. They have immense land to hunt, fish, trap and live my desired youth lifestyle. And yes lots of pretty women. I had friends that went over there and taught them how to crab fish, and another went over and taught meat cutting.

Those were the days.

I actually wrote to a mail order bride 20 years ago. But I do not want kids and that is end of story for most normal women. Most of the ones who do not want kids are basket cases of one sort or another. Now, I would try the teach English route, did try that, too. Not much I know to teach outside that.

Really, I met the right one a couple times, but I am meant to be single.

World news and other programs are read one-third slower than regular VOA English. Reporters avoid idioms and use a core vocabulary of about 1500 words, plus any terms needed to explain a story. The intended audience is intermediate to advanced learners of English. In 1962 the VOA published the first edition of the Word Book.

An interesting ranking. Though I would wonder about the COL adjustments he gives. He claims Canada is cheaper than the USA but anything I have heard and seem shows most goods in Canada are higher by 10-20% than in the states. Canadians do not cross the border to shop because they want something other than Tim Horton's for lunch.
