This would be a deal breaker for me. I remember going to Mexico in the mid 70's when bottled water was not yet readily available. It was almost impossible not to get sick at least once. Even taking a shower you had to be careful not to get any water in your mouth. Living this way gets very tiring very fast. I remember my friend ate a street vendor beef taco and on the way back to the hotel got an attack of the Hershey Squirts and made it to the lobby and squatted over a pot containing a huge tree. Not one of his finest moments. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I had a case of that yesterday so I suggest not drinking the tap water in the U.S. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

It wasn't the water, it was the 6 month old gas station hot dog you ate. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I haven't been able to splurge on a gas station hot dog in the 7 months that I have been unemployed. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

On the rare occasion that I am at the Southpoint I will get one. I would rate it a 7 out of 10 in quality. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Last time I considered eating a hot dog was last December when I was in LA for a concert. I was just wandering around the Melrose area. Walked by Pinks famous hot dogs. I was amazed at the line. Wrapped around the building into the back parking lot. Must be a good dog. I did not get in line. Just too long Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Amazing how these places that were war zones in the 1980s are now getting expats. I knew a guy in high school who wanted to help the Contras. He was a "Soldier of Fortune" reader. But he is a whole other story. I like the low costs of this one. City center near the water would be my choice. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |
