Really? So you seriously haven't read stories about people getting physically attacked at rallies because of their political beliefs? Or stories about people getting screwed over at work because a manager disagrees with their politics? Or students at school who face retaliation by teachers who disagree with the politicians they support? C'mon man, you're smarter than that...

A sign doesn't tell people where you live. Most people who pass by a house have no idea who lives there. I pass by houses every day. I have no idea who the owners are.

I know that such things have happened. I don't think that anyone should be physically attacked for any reason (other than agreed upon mutual combat) nor have their property damaged/destroyed. I'm just saying I'd personally be more comfortable going into some public group and saying, "I'm a Trump supporter," (this is hypothetical, I'm voting for neither of the two) rather than having them know where I live.

I'm not aware of the work thing, other than I'm certain that those sorts of things happen somewhere. It's generally inadvisable to discuss politics at work and is certainly something I've always tried to avoid. Not even necessarily because of any fear of retaliation, just that you want to be focused on the job you're doing and not potentially create an argumentative environment over something unrelated to the workplace.

Are you referring to colleges in the last instance? I've not heard any such stories, but I would definitely stipulate that such has happened more than zero times.

You've never been in your front yard? Besides, my concern would be most for my physical property. More directly stated, I'd be concerned that a group would come along and burn my house to the ground.

I have to admit, I TOTALLY forgot that Bloomberg was ever running! I never considered Gabbard among the 'main people running', as i don't think she ever had even 2% of the votes in any state.
