Unless you are going fully into quarantine (no supermarket, no pharmacies, no family members) it seems you will get it. Masks, pseudo quarantine, social distancing does not seem to be effective. The vaccines may decrease severe disease, and may slow the spread, but they are not stopping the spread. What I haven’t heard from anyone that I trust is whether this rapid all encompassing spread will get us to a ‘herd immunity’ type scenario. Niece tested +. Had mild symptoms for a day or two. Better already. She was vaxxed but not boostered. |
