Pretty funny. 2 days ago Captain Poopypants was warning the country that the omnicron virus was practically the bubonic plague and we were in for a Long Winter of sickness and death, those of us that were unvaccinated. Two days later, today, the Poopypants Administration announces that they're lifting all travel bans on the African countries because the vaccines and the boosters are 'working wonders' at keeping the deadly omnicron virus at bay. Noooo, they lifted the ban because the virus is a nothingburger. Unlike the Bubonic plague they were hoping for. They have to beat the bushes to find anybody that's even died from it or gotten very sick. They are so desperate to try and control us iand t is so obvious.

Just asking if anyone knows or has a working knowledge, if someone gets the Omicron Sars virus and recovers, do they then have some immunity to the Delta variant as well? Thoughts?

Could it? Sure. Will it? No one is sure. Even if it does, it wouldn’t necessarily do it for everyone.

Some say, if you recover from Covid you then have natural immunity, but I guess it isn't perfect. For now at least if you have to be infected with at least one strain of the virus, the Omicron would be the variant of choice, especially if it built a natural immunity against the other strains.

Isn't that the way virus's work, they continue mutating until they no longer kill the host so they can survive? I've see several say that since this Covid Sars2 is "endemic" now in the population, we will have it forever and if anyone lives long enough, they will eventually have some form of Covid strain built in?

Two of my neighbors tested positive in June 2020. They had mild symptoms. Six months later they caught it again. This time the symptoms were much worse. They still have not recovered their sense of smell.

Singe Bryan Adams tested positive twice in one month.

More recently, Andy Cohen contracted Covid for the second time in a year.

New or bad strains of virus can reemerge. If it becomes seasonal, they will likely look at what's circulating, and adjust accordingly. We may go years and years without a bad strain. Hopefully.

But then again, we may not.
