Strange. I thought Biden said if you just listened to the medical professionals this would all be over in no time. Almost a year later and it still gets worse. Is he not listening to the doctors?

People should voluntarily act "for the common good" when it comes to this pandemic.

That government intrusion is required only solidifies political opposition.

If you hear "for the common good" you should realize it means accepting tyranny.

You'd think the Evangelicals on the right would have no problem accepting tyranny, considering they take it from a (probably) make believe character.

Common good?

Had the the virus been several degrees more deadly, you’d hear most conservatives screaming for people to work in harmony for the common good.

Yeah, or had it been a different virus altogether. You don't really hear the ones who ended up on respirators screaming much of anything.

Intel is the latest company to bench its unvaccinated employees amid a sudden surge in cases of Covid-19, reportedly issuing a warning to workers in a December 7th memo that anyone who doesn’t have the shot or have an exemption submitted by January 4th will be put on unpaid leave

Hey, I'm a big freedom guy...but it's the right who you usually hear decrying everything as some form of tyranny. Pushing that people should get the vaccine is not tyranny; forcing them to do so (if you are the Government and they are not an employee) is. Businesses choosing to have mask/vaccine/distancing requirements is not tyranny; the Government forcing businesses to close is.

"For the common good" is generally left-win weasel words. Used to convince people to accept losses to their freedoms and be happy about it.

Conservatives did try to work in harmony in 2020. Democrats instead decided to use the virus for political gain, figuring every death was more votes. Political power has always been more important than lives to the Democrat Party.

I would say that we have laws that prohibit one person from murdering another for the common good, wouldn't you agree?

Political power has always been more important than lives to both major parties, unless a person hasn't been born yet, which the right really seems to care a lot about, for whatever reason.
