I am not the one or party who ran my mouth that Trump was not taking it seriously, or not listening to professionals. Biden was that one and party. Guess what, all his side did was used the virus to make political points. In reality, they loved the more dead people they were. Probably had some political class quant telling them how many more votes for every 10,000 more dead.

I listen to them, then I weigh the advice I have listened to. I take Vitamin C and Zinc as they seem to have some effect. I do not wear a mask as wearing a dirty mask does nothing. I have not taken a vax that I keep hearing people are still getting infected after taking.

I would have some hydroxychloroquine on hand if it were available OTC.

I do not listen to Big Pharma.

You birds just don't seem to understand what it was Biden wanted and wants: he wants to quell and eventually stop the spread of covid.

To do so, he believes, and the science backs him on this, that the simplest, surest way to accomplish this laudable aim is for all people to be vaccinated.

It isn't politics so much as it is science / health.

In opposing vaccination anti-vaxxers hope to achieve a political goal: very stupid thinking on their part as they risk their health and that of their families for a specious goal.

Just more evidence of the fracturing of the American fairy tale.

That is my preference, but in this case it is about science, not government.

Vaccines were mandated before without this type of resistance: yes, resistance is political.

I do not see it as an intrusion, I see it as a necessary action / precaution based on science and needed to quell a pandemic.

I see little or no real risk of harm in the vaccines, especially when compared to the risks when contracting covid while unvaccinated.

Also I'd rather not have my tax dollars pay for your medical care in hospital for covid when vaccination would likely have prevented / minimized it;

From province of Quebec, Canada on Monday: 5000 new cases of Omicron, 3000 of them among double vaccinated people. Vaccination protection is relatively short term. Is it worth it, probably but it is not the magic bullet to end the pandemic that you make it out to be. BC has just reinstated a bunch of lock down rules. Slightly more than 90% of adults are double vaccinated in BC. As I have said many time Covid is going to do its thing and there is nothing we can do to stop it. We can slow it down with our rules but that only delays not eliminates the run of the virus through the human race. If you actually want to end the pandemic inoculate everyone with the virus, those that survive are good to go.

That government intrusion is required only solidifies political opposition.
