Faxed and afraid vs no vax and living life. Easy choice

It's the vaccinated people that are always the ones that are crying and moaning and groaning. I never hear anything from unvaccinated people. They know the recovery rate from covid is 99% for most people. Like I said, I lost count all the number of people in my wife's extended family who got covid and they all lived except one and she died because she was already dying of lupus. Even my son-in-law who is high-risk because he had a kidney transplant and takes drugs that wipe out his immune system so it doesn't reject the kidney, even he survived and is doing well. Never even had to go to the hospital. He thought he was going to cough up a lung at one point but he lived. As do 99% of the people who get covid. Duh
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Yes, we cannot understand how vaccinated people are afraid of unvaxed. How they say we need to get the vax so the vaxed people are safe, except we then have to be afraid of the unvaxed.
The President is a fink.

I wish hospitals would turn away unvaccinated Covid patients. Then we could really get on with life and not have to worry about the sheep using up all our medical resources.

I don't yet advocate such heartlessness. But in a nation with finite centrally financed health service (NHS) AND a parallel health service of private fee based hospitals, I could accept having our NHS telling the self imposed higher risk group to 'go away: go private'. So those folk meet market forces head on.

Classic. I don't advocate harshness, but instead here's some harshenss.
Too Funny OD, you heartless Brit.

Those freely choosing to remain unvaxxed should be taken to hospitals and physicians who believe that is the right choice and treated there if they get sick.

That sounds fair to me.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I was honest. I said I don't advocate such harshness YET. I'm receptive to persuasion and influenced by resourse stress I see caused or made worse by the unvaxxed.
I can see a case for turning away idiots who didn't take any care of their health AT A TIME WHERE HOSPITALS ARE SO STRETCHED THEY HAVE TO SEND SOMEONE AWAY. The normal triage process treats those who need it first with consideration of their chance of survival. That is the medical professions consensus decision on the moral thing to do. Save maximum lives even if some of the saved are idiots, a PITA or worse.
But when deciding who cannot get treated, selecting those who are at the greatest risk of dying anyway or of hogging a bed for longest, makes some sense. If the unvaxed are at the greatest risk of draining resources, then let them wait and treat those who have a better chance of going home soon and alive...
Triaging IS harsh. I'm glad none of us has to do it.

Or in the USA, Ignore medical and moral aspects and let everyone bid for treatment* Treat the rich, Send the poor home to die*

There's the slight moral dilemma that sending any infectious person out into society does add to the risk of them spreading the virus more.

*Not really my view: I'm much more of a socialist than that.

But seriously. Here is a discussion of the practicalities of why antivaxxers are not persuaded and how they might be.

The target audience is those who would seek to help the antivaxxers to listen. If you are not in that group. No worries. Ignore it.
