I’ve spent a little time looking into the matter and stand by my statement of unfairly trying to blame cast. There’s no possible logical chain of thoughts that would lead to the conclusion that Fauci is in any way directly responsible for the pandemic.

Probably trying to keep his name in the press for a 2024 run, but he’ll eventually become a three-time loser just like his dad, albeit one with much less personality.

READ the article! Only THREE of the sickest patients, those requiring a ventilator, were vaccinated. I know it is a small country..... but THREE is a small number nonetheless. THREE in the entire country! That's a slow month for people on a ventilator because of flu in wintry Buffalo.....

THAT UK STAT IS WRONG! The WND Source has misinterpretted a shoddy correction of a stupidly wrong statement.
The error follows a shambolic set of statements by our Chief Scientific advisor, who really screwed up.

Our chief scientific advisor initially gave the wrong statistic that 40% of admissions were fully vaccinated. But when he later corrected that by Twitter, he was ambiguous.

Here is his own correction.
"Correcting a statistic I gave at the press conference today, 19 July. About 60% of hospitalisations from covid are not from double vaccinated people, rather 60% of hospitalisations from covid are currently from unvaccinated people."

What a badly written correction!!!!!
If Double vaccinated means 'had both doses'
then by implication
Vaccinated would mean 'had one or two doses'
then by implication
UN-Vaccinated would mean 'had zero doses'

60% had zero vaccination does not infer 40% fully vaccinated.

Unvaccinated to me, means the 60% have had NO doses of the vaccine. 40% have had either one or two doses. One dose is not 'fully vaccinated' and even two doses would not be fully effective for a couple of weeks.. Ergo it is not true to say that "40% of admissions were fully vaccinated." More true that 40% were partially vaccinated.

I agree that the Delta variant IS infecting many partially vaccinated. It happened now to two friends of mine who got infected a few weeks after the first dose. It also happened to our Health Secretary (Cabinet minister) who has had both doses of the vaccine, but still got infected.

That is an assumption. Just as WND assumed Vallance correction meant 40% of those hospitalized, were fully vaccinated.

Almost 90% of the adult population in the UK is fully vaccinated. It is possible, almost 90% of those who are hospitalized are fully vaccinated.

No question the vaccines have reduced the mortality rate by 90% or more. You saw it in your own country where the quick roll out reduced deaths to 24 per day, while EU nations, Italy, France and Spain, were each still seeing more than ten times that number.

Valance's initial statement was flat out wrong. He accepted that.

But his subsequent correction was grammatically and logically awful. It should not have been open to conflicting interpretations. It should have precluded and dealt with assumptions. A government's chief scientific advisor should have known how to be clear and explicit in scientific statements and as a Government advisor, he should know the ramifications for failing.

His correction was typed as a tweet. No heat of the moment slip of the tongue. Indeed his correction should have been given quicker, clearer and with more emphasis than a passing tweet.
