How is that possible. It's the most iconic show of a generation. References to it in our culture are everywhere. It made Seinfeld a billionaire. The shows influence is mind boggling. Just say 'soup Nazi' to anybody and they instantly know where it comes from. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You need to go back and watch it. In the 1990s you were out of the loop if you were not up on it. Probably the last show that will capture the nation in the way that it did. It even had a season where they did the show within itself and spoofed itself. It broke so many sitcom rules at the time. Today we do not notice, but when they did it back then it was so amazing. A show where they just wait for a table at a Chinese restaurant. Now, shows can take that kind of risk. When the showed it to the network in 1990 or so the execs lost their minds. The President is a fink. |

I think anyone that lives in a cold climate knows about Goretex. I know I never saw a Seinfeld about it. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
