Baseball hall of famer and broadcaster Joe Morgan, 77. Every time I watched a game covered by Joe Morgan, I learned something about baseball.

I clearly remember him as a player as my Orioles beat the Big Red machine in 1970
Brooks Robinson was having a career defensive series as he stole hit after hit

I was pretty young, but I remember Joe Morgan as a player. What I remember most is that so many kids my age used to imitate his little elbow flap while waiting for the pitch.

I am curious, what made you want a picture with her? I have never asked a stranger for a picture.

I normally don't do that either. She was in a parade, I think for the fourth of July, which had just ended. She was standing around, I think waiting for the street to open back up to cars. She looked a bit lonely and I don't think anyone else around recognized her, so I thought "why not." She was very agreeable to the picture.

Conchata Ferrell passed at age 77. Older people from Baltimore remember her from her stage production in HOT-L Baltimore in 1973, and the short lived TV show.
Most people remember her from Two and a Half Men.

I think I remember a story where Sean Connery said he was getting too old for the role
so
Roger Moore took over and I think he was the same age as Sean :-)

Baba Wawa asked Connery once if
he ever slapped a woman. His reply
was something like, only if they
deserved it. Today if he said that
he would never work in Hwood
again. I always thought the
character he played in Finding
Forrester was very close to who
he really was. A loner, doesn't
take crap from anybody, knows
exactly what he wants.

I saw one of those news-obits for him. I forgot how many parts he played after Bond.
